Delivery Information

At NumberOneBeds we want to get your bed to you as soon as possible. We are so committed to this that our helpline is open 7 days a week (9am till 5pm Monday to Saturday and 11am till 5pm on Sunday) or by e-mail customerservices@numberonebeds.com.

Delivery Charges 

Delivery is free in all areas with the exception of the highlands and islands of Scotland. Delivery may be possible to these area but at an additional charge. Please contact our customer services to find out the precise cost. NumberOneBeds does not deliver to any parts of Northern or Southern Ireland at this moment.

Items In Stock 

Most items are usually in stock. Stock items are available for express delivery and many items can even be delivered on a next day basis.

If you have chosen a stock item that needs to be delivered by our two man service this may be possible at an additional cost of £30 and may extend the delivery lead time. We currently deliver to most areas in the UK on a weekly basis. Please be aware deliveries to remote areas may take slightly longer.

Next Day Delivery Service 

NumberOneBeds have a large range of items that are available for next day delivery. These products will be delivered by a one man delivery company. This means the courier can only deliver the ordered items to the front door of the designated delivery address, if you reside in an apartment or a block of flats, the delivery driver will deliver to the lobby of the building only.

Please understand that the delivery companies that offer a ‘next day’ service are not insured to enter a private premises. Please be aware that if you purchase a product on a ‘next day’ delivery and require assistance with the positioning of the product, you must arrange the assistance yourself.

Supplier Leadtimes 

If your item is not in stock it may need to be ordered from one of our suppliers. We can estimate delivery lead times for most suppliers but please be aware these are estimates. Therefore these times are only a guide and may vary slightly depending on the time of the year/ suppliers stock levels etc. Please allow up to 3 – 5 working days* for delivery from our warehouse to the customer

*Remote Areas: Please note remote areas may take longer for the items to be delivered to you once they arrive into our warehouse.

Numberone Beds Delivery Vehicles 

Customers should assume that the delivery vehicle will be a long, heavy goods vehicle, weighing approximately 16.5 tones with a height of 14′ 3″. Smaller delivery vehicles may be possible by prior arrangement. This may however effect delivery lead times. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the delivery vehicle has legal access to their property and inform us about any weight, height and parking restrictions, as well as any difficult access points and unadopted roads/ paths in order to help us deliver your order. Failure to disclose this information may result in an aborted delivery and a delivery charge being levied. In order to prevent damage to our/ contracted vehicles, unadopted roads, paths and tracks will not be taken by delivery vehicles. Alternative routes must be provided by the customer.

Tracking Your Delivery

Please call (01325) 485000 or e-mail our delivery team at customerservices@numberonebeds.com. Please provide your order details (including order number) in all correspondence. NumberOneBeds will then be able to inform you of your order status and estimated delivery time.

Confirming Your Delivery Date

We will never arrange a delivery date without contacting and confirming the date with you first. Once your item(s) is ready for dispatch either we will contact you or our contracted delivery service will contact you in order to arrange a mutually suitable delivery date.

Other Delivery Information.

NumberOneBeds/third party contractors will not assemble any ordered items under any circumstances. The assembly of orders is the responsibility of the customer.

NumberOneBeds or its contracted deliverers will not remove or dispose existing pieces of furniture. The customer must take the responsibility to organize the removal and disposal of unwanted furniture.

Preparation for delivery: customers are advised when accepting goods to have protective sheets available as the goods been delivered may have transferred through a number of warehouses and delivery vehicles and packaging may have become soiled. NumberOneBeds will not accept any liability for any damaged caused.
